About Us

So, the irony here is that this section is “About Us,” but really there is only one of us with a few friends helping do so Quality Assurance by joining the Alpha/Beta group. StylishJava is a small LLC in Texas with one-guy-coding and his wife to manage the financial side of things — when there is any. To date, most work has been some consulting and minor website projects for small companies. That said, the “one-guy” has been writing code and working in I.T. for over 25 years.

Specific to this project, I have been writing fiction and running RPG games for as long as I have been producing code. I looked into several other world-building solutions and came to the conclusion I could create something just as good, if not better, than most of the products out there. And, by doing it myself, I could pivot quickly for new features as they became needed. Which brings us to the point of those using Egeria Cosm: if you have ideas, suggestions, just wished something worked differently, please feel free to submit that feedback. My goal is to create a tool that is useful for those who build their own worlds and write their own stories; not just provide a “here, use this” solution like much of the other options out there.
